SASC show the teachers how it's done

This week Sam Anderson and James Finch delivered an Inset cricket coaching session at Denstone College in Staffordshire. 14 teachers from the top Independent school attended the session, where they learned new drills and coaching techniques to pass on to their age group sides. Head of cricket at Denstone College, Jane Morris said of the session "It was excellent, all our teachers have picked up some new skills tonight. From those who have played cricket to a relatively high standard to those who have hardly played at all, Sam and James were able to pitch the skills at a level so everybody could learn something new. Their passion for coaching was clear to see and we look forward to welcoming them back next year."

For James Finch, it was his first time delivering this type of session and he commented "It was refreshing to see how willing to learn the teachers were. I really enjoyed the session and I'm looking forward to following the progress of the Denstone College cricket teams throughout the season."
